Come for the local authors, stay for the return writers at the end for the open mic.

How do I sign up to read at your next event?
Contact Marianna Pease through our website to inquire about reading. We welcome all authors and writers of various genres but especially seek out authors of a high intellectual and joyful calibur! Shoot your shot!
What Should I Expect From A Live Event?
All events are held at The Sea Hag Restaurant & Bar in Harvard Square at 49 Mount Auburn St in Cambridge Ma. The events are 6pm-9pm every second Wednesday. Next dates are June 11th and July 8th. We will take an August recess and return in the fall with our autumn series with a few new surprises. Events flow with fiction authors followed by a brief intermission, non fiction, poetry and then a lively open mic. You never know who just might be in the audience with a book out! All events include a live event photographer so dress cute. Photos or it didn’t happen people!
What Do I Get Out of This as a Participating Reader?
Readers get to be introduced, bring books to sell and signed copies. Complementary author photos and candids to use as you please by professional photograher CJ Keys. Bragging rights. Friends. Community. A feature on Marianna Pease’s Instagram and Blog and forever acess through the growing author email list for upcoming events. A Supportive COMMUNITY! And what is more valuable than THAT?
